Description
With more than 10 years experience, and a background in education, I am passionate about supporting you as you learn to play the guitar. Playing music from a range of styles, you will learn to read music and develop control over the sound you make. As a teacher, my approach is student-centred, with patience and flexibility. I have taught all ages, from 7 to 70, and helped students play for enjoyment and pleasure as well as achieve strong results in exams. I love sharing the joy of music, and often play duets with my students to build confidence and musicality.
Lessons last 30 minutes for beginners, 45 minutes for intermediate students, and an hour for advanced students and exam preparation.
